Visual Language (Fall 2011) - website
This Foundations course introduces students to the principles of composition, form, and Color Theory. The class also has a technical emphasis on digital photography and Photoshop. Through a series of formal exercises students evolve towards more independently developed projects that apply the principles learned.

Time (2011-2012) - website
In the second semester of Foundations, students are introduced to the basics of time-based media and sequential art. This class can have a particular theme and focus: I titled my thematic class Shifting Perspectives and we explored multipling points of view within a story. The second section Make 'em Laugh examines different kinds of humor in art.
